| Canal and River holidays are a great way of combining a relaxing holiday with the opportunity to
enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside as it passes slowly by.
Popular with people of all ages, a narrowboat or riverboat holiday provides
the freedom to see and do whatever you wish. We are pleased to offer a choice of three boats - our riverboat the ‘Charlotte II’, and our narrowboats ‘Lilia’ and ‘Isabella’, all specially designed for wheelchair users. |

| The
‘Charlotte II’ replaces the original narrowboat, the ‘Charlotte’,
which was commissioned by the late Bruce Wake, who was himself wheelchair-bound
as a result of Motor Neurone Disease. Sadly Bruce did not live to see
‘Charlotte’ launched in June 1992, but generously instigated
and endowed this Trust to assist those who are disabled to benefit, together
with their families, from a holiday on the waterways. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
